From Style to Sold: @lowkey_hazy featuring the trench coat Sometimes, it’s about finding the perfect statement layering piece. Hazy and I worked on her base look together but felt like something was missing. We spent a good 10 minutes browsing the racks and nothing seemed quite right. Then, I remembered a trench coat I pulled earlier and as soon as Hazy put it on, we knew it was meant to be. It fit her shoulders perfectly and showcased her casual and effortless style she walked in with already. From Styled to Sold: @tiffanyyytsai featuring the bodysuit I met Tiffany for the first time at this event. When she approached me for a new look, I was just learning what she liked and I wanted her to be excited about what we put together. We passed on dresses and gowns, and as soon as we came across this Milano Di Rouge bodysuit, Tiffany’s eyes lit up and we both went “ohhhhh!” Paired with a cami bra, a high waisted bathing suit bottom, and Tiffany’s own boots, this look perfectly highlighted Tiffany’s sporty and stage-ready personality. From Styled to Sold: @fitness.modeling.tiff featuring the floral jacket It was a joy to work with Tiffany and create this look! Her thoughts below: “Even though I went to PMDC’s November meet already dressed, I still wanted to opportunity to work with Jia on another look. First she selected this floral jacket, then the rest came together in no time. I was amazed because despite all that was going on she was able to incorporate my favorite color (purple) and pick an item I wouldn’t normally wear (the jacket), which was something I had mentioned wanting to do. The hat was an added bonus, selected by Kasim!” This is my encouragement to you to play with color and wear something you’ve never tried before. Tiffany doesn’t typically go for this type of jacket but because she was drawn to the color, she was more inclined to try it. Before we knew it we created a look that she felt great in. From Styled to Sold: @mashagetahun featuring the pink blazer and jeans Maria pulled this pink blazer for me to style her. As we sifted through the racks I asked her what drew her to it, and she said it made her think of Barbie. That’s when it clicked that we could make this look a little playful. The blue heels and woven handbag were paired quickly and after some experimentation, we landed on the bejeweled shades which I think adds a whimsical vibe to it all. Maria originally wore a different pair of jeans on the more relaxed side, but seeing her body shape I recommended a more fitted silhouette. She found the ones shown in these photos and she liked them so much, she purchased them to keep! The blazer was also added to the PortraitMeet team’s cart.
