Accountability ⚒️ But I want to talk about the accountability relationship you have with yourself …. As coaches we are there to support and reassure and guide as much as possible, BUT!! You also have to stay accountable to yourself ! If you want the very best results as a competitor, treat it like a job, a must ..A ABSOLUTE! - Sleep time- go to bed and get up when needed 🕰️ - Meal schedule- eat your meals when they are needed 🍲 - Train- I don’t mean go to the gym, I mean train hard and with accuracy 🎯 - Mindset- work on your thought process & mindset, your headspace is the most over looked aspect to growth and progress 🧠 - Routine - your routine become your blueprint for success 🗺️ - Consistency- stay focused and regimented 🔑 -Fun & Enjoyment - IF YOU DONT LOVE IT, it’s likely not for you 🖤 Bodybuilding is easy, physique development is simple, what’s difficult is staying consistent and dedicated day in day out to ensure those things are being nailed and progress is taking place…. I feel like the coaching eye is getting lost, 👁️ Yes sheets and trackers and processes are cool and handy, but that ability to look at a physique, understand what that body needs ….. that is the art of coaching There’s been many times I’ve gone against my original scheduled plan as the look, physique and athlete is telling me something different. Delaying gratification 🕰️ In a world with instant dopamine fixes and instant gratification at the click of a button, I think it’s important to delay this at times …. Practice the delay 💭 This is something I have done for many years subconsciously but also practice consciously to improve mindset, focus and work ethic If I want to buy something, I don’t instantly buy it… I wait for a Few weeks and if I still want it and need it, il then continue Doing the hard things first, prioritising the hard and most challenging tasks of the day, doing the things I maybe don’t want to do first then the enjoyment factors after. It sounds daft but even Down to my food, egg yolks and dark chocolate always get eaten last, practice that delay of satisfaction. The reality of life is, we don’t always get what we want, it doesn’t always come easy, we will fail, things will go wrong, being comfortable with that and not being wrapped in a world of instant gratification and pleasure will make those blows easier to tackle and overcome. 11 weeks In 📅 & the prep recomp continues. Weight trickles down gradually and the look keeps improving, The chilled approach to this prep with no time line has allowed the slow movements of the scales to not be a issue what so ever, and not cloud any thoughts of the look, It’s normal when you see such slow movement weight wise to fear lack of progress from a condition standpoint Performance has been great, Comparisons of check in shots regular and in person check ins confirms we are moving at a beautiful rate! I’ve done hard fast, aggressive digs in the past, if anything I enjoy the challenge of them …. The why in which you choose to do what you do 💭 There can be many reasons why you choose to follow a path, but that reason needs to be specific to you, there will be days where it’s hard, you won’t want to do it, you’ll want to skip, cheat, and fall off the rails….. those are the days you must and should try hardest! You guys seemed to like the little tidbit on clenbuterol recently, so here’s a really interesting research finding on the common fat loss drug yohimbine. This study looked at the pharmacokinetic profiles in seven young men given 10mg of yohimbine HCL. Both IV and oral route of admin was taken, but I’m sure nobody is out there IV’ing their yohimbine. The oral bioavailability showed huge variability, ranging from as low as 7% all the way up to 87%. I’m sure we’ve all experienced some people using yohimbine who have their head blown off at seemingly low doses, and some who do not seem to notice much by way of stimulatory effect. This likely speaks for the degree of inter-individuality in bioavailability. In practical terms, this speaks towards the individualisation of dosing yohimbine, where dose will need to be adjusted based on the response of the given individual, which is something we discuss in depth on @physiquecollective and is a methodology we’d be wise to apply to all PED use.
