🌿 Embracing Strength: My Journey with Mental Health and Crohn’s Disease 🌿 Today, I want to share a deeply personal aspect of my life: my ongoing battle with severe Crohn’s disease and its impact on my mental health. Living with a chronic illness like Crohn’s is challenging, both physically and mentally. There are days when the pain and fatigue feel overwhelming, and the emotional toll can be just as tough. But through it all, I’ve learned the importance of resilience, self-care, and seeking support. I am grateful to my family and friends and my doctor for helping me stay in remission.💪💚 Here are a few ways I manage my mental health while navigating Crohn’s: ⭐️Prayer, Mindfulness and Meditation: Taking moments to breathe and stay present helps ease anxiety and stress. ⭐️Seeking Support: Talking to loved ones and joining support groups reminds me that I’m not alone in this journey. ⭐️Professional Help: Staying on top of my health by always taking my Stelara shots even though I am feeling at my best is a crucial part of managing my illness. ⭐️Self-Care Rituals: Listening to my body, spending time with my puppy, resting when needed, and engaging in activities like tufting brings me joy and helps me relax. It’s important to acknowledge that it’s okay to have tough days. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. 💖

🌟 Shoutout to an Incredible Inspiration! 🌟 Today, I want to take a moment to give a HUGE shoutout to someone who has truly made a difference in my 10 year pageant journey: 🙌❤️ From the very beginning, Randall Smith has been a pillar of support, encouragement, and inspiration. 5 years ago, I decided to take a break from competing and Randall said to me. “it will all come together when you see what we see and no longer doubt yourself”. Randall, your unwavering belief in me and constant motivation helped me reach heights I never thought possible. Thank you for your pep talks, impeccable wardrobe and helping me “see it!”💙✨ Let’s all take a moment to appreciate those special people in our lives who make our journeys brighter and our challenges easier. Tag someone who has made a difference in your life!

✨Service Saturday✨ Today I had an opportunity to head back to the Cottage Daycare to spend the day with an often forgotten and sometimes unserved community; the elderly. Spending time with these wonderful individuals reminded me of the importance of connection, compassion, and community involvment. Hearing their stories, sharing laughs, and simply being present made a world of difference to them—and to me.💖 Volunteering isn’t just about giving; it’s about receiving so much love and wisdom in return. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to spend your time, I highly recommend volunteering at an elderly home. It’s a beautiful experience that enriches both their lives and yours. Thank you Ms. Alex and the entire staff at the Cottage Day Care for giving me an opportunity to spend a day with you🌟 Let’s spread kindness and make a difference, one smile at a time💜 #servicesaturday
