To my Students…
I’d like to apologize for my portion of the online shenanigans that went on yesterday with someone I grew up with. Those that grew up with me, know that I was voted Class Clown my Jr. High and High School years, and that I’m far from sensitive. So if there was a roasting session, I’d never backed down, sadly. Smh lol… I’ve been called everything in the book, Short, Fat, The n-word, girl, ugly, gay, a bald headed wanch, the list goes on 😂. But like I said, you can’t be sensitive and be voted a Class Clown, so it was always jokes growing up. But when I matured, and I took my walk with God seriously, I started viewing the world differently.
I took on the traits of…Galatians 5:22-23
New International Version
22 verse : But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
So the mostly quiet, respectful, meek minded, mild mannered but still goofy Aaron is what I grew into, and who you know today. Lol.. I got pulled back into my childhood yesterday. My bad. Lol

I had a great time at Sacramento’s Crawdad Festival yesterday! I’d like to give a shout out to @austinjr.mistah son @heartss444.miya who displayed really good character yesterday as my Drum Tech for the day. He was polite, kind, helpful and respectful. That’s not common in today’s 14 year olds. Even when there was a malfunction during the show, he handled it like a Champ. The only reason I’m acknowledging this is because kids these days think they know everything, and you can’t tell them anything. Smh lol… Be proud of your son bro, he represented you well on this Father’s Day.

I’ve always been the type of person who gets inspired by those who have traveled the musical path I’m reaching for.
Recently my Big Brother @dsekc1 gave me a production assignment of 1940’s-50’s music. Orchestral, Big band style of music. Being that I have experience in playing in a Big Band Orchestra, I knew what it sounded like, but never thought of producing a song from scratch. Here’s what I came up with.

To my Students…
What I’ve learned these last 2 years of being on stage with these Music Veterans is that it’s perfectly fine to have showmanship on stage while you’re doing what you love. People buy tickets to concerts for 3 reasons. For nostalgia, to have fun, and to be entertained!
So smile!! Bring that good energy, and show them that you came to the stage to have a good time!
