Adam Allen - Cincinnati Portrait Photography

Shot these back in June of 2023 with @keshadalal who was phenomenal to work with. It was my first experience shooting again after focusing for a long time on my career and schooling, and after moving from LA to Cincinnati. . The helmet represents my feeling of needing safety as I continue to enter a new season of my life, my spiritual journey, a new part of the country, and a new chapter in my career.

Shot this with the absolutely unstoppable @ashleybeloat when I lived in LA. We shot it in the Simi Valley. Similar to the shot in Hawking Hills, the helmet represents my feeling alien in my new career, and yet feeling able to truly breathe like I couldn’t in my previous career as a prison guard. Ashley so easily embodies my emotions. This picture continues to serve as my expression of who I am and where I’m from.

I shot this about six years ago. Things in my life were completely disrupted. It was a season of my life I don’t wish to return to. . I shot this with @tayloornicolee with the intention to display the idea that though I am weighed down with my despair, and remain strong and work to appear out together to the world.

Shot on my deck with Megan. It was pretttttty cool! This was also exciting because I got to use my Zeus lighting unit which is insanely bright. I put the flash in a soft box on camera left and let the sun work as a hair light. Model: @freaking.megan.bach
