I hope that you are grateful for the competition … We are not here to solely win a first or second place, we made the decision to compete so that we can get our students’ performance experience in front of the people that grant scholarships, offer contracts and provide awards. We participate in competitions for the opportunity to see what is current in the aerial world and to learn from specialty instructors and master coaches currently working in the professional community. Competing prepares students to create a goal and develop the discipline to prepare an artistic piece within a time period that will be subject to constructive criticism which will, if channeled positively and with a growth mindset, will make them better artists and performers. Competing also presents the opportunity to problem solve in the moment, lose graciously, and cheer on friends from other studios and gyms. What an awesome season this was! I had so much fun performing all of my routines! on silks I did not place but I did get a character metal! For the group essemble we placed first! And for sling, I placed second! I have made so many friends, lots of memories and have learned things. Thank you @aerialympics for making my dreams come true, thank you @flyingskiballs for being there, helping me and just being the best coach I could ask for, you mean a lot too me. Thank you too ALL of my amazing friends and the people I just met for cheering me on, love you guys lots! I am sooo excited for next season!! ❤️❤️🥇🥈

February is the shortest month of the year, and 32 of our devoted members showed up to the challenge! The Committed club is an attendance challenge that rewards our members for consistently showing up to the gym each month. Being a part of the committed club is an honor and testament to health and fitness goals. In order to achieve committed club status, you must attend at least 16 classes each month!
