After 4ish years I finally decided to buy myself a new couch 😊 This old chesterfield was passed on to my sister then my sister passed it on to me (kinda) and now it’s with my mom.
I finally took the plunge after much deliberation and saving up and I’m super happy. 😊 Still need to do some styling but slow and steady wins the race when it comes to decorating a place in my opinny. I actually filmed a moving vlog but decided not to post it after seeing a TikTok about how easy it is for people to figure out where you live 👀…and not to get too deep here, this is a couch celebration after all, but I do currently have a restraining order for this exact reason sooooo I think sharing little snippets here and there is what I’m most comfortable with for the time being.

PSA: I’m not the best with words and I find it hard to articulate what I want to say a lot of the time but this is my attempt at creating a safe space to talk about some of the issue with content creation in South Africa and if there’s a way forward. 🧡

I hope that my gut was right here and that this isn’t the start of the end for my carrier because I do genuinely love what I’ve been able to do and share up until now. As a teen I always knew I wanted to do something in the creative realm and somehow this fell in my lap and I felt so honoured to be my own boss and live off of something I loved doing but I never thought it would come to this.
All in all, I want to keep creating content for the rest of my days but I want it to be done in a way that makes me feel good about it.
