A few photos from my favorite day this year 💙. Don't mind my puffy eyes from crying the entire time 🥹. I didn't know if I would ever get to have a baby shower, and I was blown away by all the love and support we received. It meant so much to me to celebrate with our family and those closest to us. Baby P is so loved already. Thank you to everyone who came. It means more to me than words can say. We loved seeing everyone so much 🥹💙 A special thank you to Amber for throwing the baby shower of my dreams. I'm still pinching myself. So many people loving on us, and our baby boy, makes my heart explode over and over. We love you guys so much ❤️.

Where do I even begin....

After 3+ years of trying, two miscarriages, countless tests, multiple surgeries, two failed IUIs, and lots of tears, we have finally made it in to the second trimester. It feels surreal to have made it this far. My constant fear is slowly turning in to excitement. Excitement in realizing that I will get to hold this baby in 5 short months 🥹.

Our complicated journey to parenthood has made me scared every single day of this pregnancy. A big part of me also feels guilty, because I know how sad these sort of posts would make me when I was in my darkest days of infertility.

For those who are still trying, I see you. For those who are vulnerable and brave enough to share their struggle publicly, I thank you. Thank you for your advice, your help, and for listening to me when I needed it most. The amount of strangers I've connected with over this unfortunate struggle, has blown me away. If you are struggling to get pregnant, I highly recommend reaching out to those who share their journey publicly. I swear, I learned more from infertility influencers than any doctor I ever went to.

Moral of the story: maybe don't ask someone when they're going to 'finally' have kids. You never know what they might be going through.
