The UN Security Council has adopted a long overdue US resolution to protect civilians, release civilian hostages and demand an end to eight months of bloodshed, unlawful attacks and mass humanitarian suffering in Gaza. The resolution must now be implemented immediately by all parties to the conflict. Any states with the ability to influence either of the parties must make every effort to ensure an immediate stop to the daily horrors of this war.

Peaceful protest is a human right. We're calling on the police in Kenya to exercise restraint and respect people's right to protest. Authorities must immediately release all those currently arbitrarily detained. Take action by signing the petition. Link in bio.

Two years ago, in a major blow to abortion rights, the US Supreme Court overturned #RoevWade , which had previously guaranteed a constitutional right to abortion. It’s now more important than ever to show your support - #ShowUpForAbortionRights , however you can, whenever you can. In Poland, Venezuela, Ghana and now Brazil, people who defend the right to abortion are being intimidated and attacked. It's time to take our power back. Amnesty International’s new campaign, launching today, calls on people from around the world to do just that. Watch this space.

It paints a disturbing picture of: 👉 Recruitment 👉 Sexual violence 👉 Killing 👉 Maiming Children in Haiti MUST be protected.

Since the Tiananmen crackdown in Beijing on 4 June 1989, people wishing to commemorate the date in mainland China have been stopped, censored and silenced. Since the enactment of the National Security Law in 2020, this has become the reality in Hong Kong as well. And yet, across the world, people still come together to remember the incident in their own ways.
