One of my favorite jobs that falls under my dance career umbrella is Judging. Judging for @ampdancecompetition is something that brings me so much joy and is a role I feel like I truly thrive in. And working for a team that feels like family makes the long weekends and endless traveling worth it all in the end.
Plus it’s the only dance job I get to dress up for hahaha So without further ado…I give you my judging fits for the 2024 season hahaha

✈️ This competition season included 16 flights (8 round-trips) for a total of 13,739 flight miles. Certainly not my most, but definitely enough! That included 3 weekends as a competition judge + 4 weekends as an event assistant director + 1 weekend as an event director! 🖤 This was my most versatile travel season & my most enjoyable. I’m so glad to have options in this career of dance that I am passionate about! Grateful to these amazing competitions that grow with this industry & provide so much for dancers! #Melanie5678

Competition dump from the past 2 weekends 🩷
Just like that, regionals are over! I am so proud of my girls for working so hard this season and for always being eager to learn and grow 🥺🫶🏼! Now we just have to prepare for Nationals! I'm so proud of everyone this season and I'm ready for the next season!
A few Highlights from the past 2 weeks:
At @ampdancecompetition Pluto was the category winner, received an Out of the Box award for being the "Perfect Pair," and won 3rd overall for their routine. Nyla received 17 overall out of all of the solos in the session and was a scholarship winner!!
At @shakethegroundcomp Pluto won 1st place overall and Nyla placed 10th!!

The end of the @ampdancecompetition season is always bitter sweet! The weekends are long and exhausting but I feel so thankful to work for a company that is making a difference in the dance community! I love getting to witness each season how much AMP truly cheers kids on and makes them feel like they are unstoppable!
