Everyone is on a different journey. And I’m just now slowly getting to a place where I can accept my journey as my own. There are a lot of growing pains and plenty of bumps along the road. But I’m glad to be on this journey nonetheless.
I’m beginning to take care of myself, especially my mental health. I’m learning to honor my emotions by being patient enough to find the words to describe them and by nurturing spaces that allow me to freely talk about them.
I’m learning to be kinder to myself. Learning to not judge myself so harshly for not having everything figured out. I haven’t yet mastered asking for help (still working on lowering my pride and lessening my ego) but I’m at least coming around to being able to acknowledge that help is needed.
There’s plenty more I could share, but I think you get the picture. I’m learning a lot about myself and continuously growing one day at a time. My prayer is that you do the same.
