EKKSTACY is out nowWatching this album come to life over the last year has also meant watching @ekkstacy grow into the artist, person, star that he is today. One did not happen without the other, they both fed each other simultaneously. This album is like listening to the journey of what it means to grow up while living out of a suitcase and trying to find stability in complete chaos. Being able to play a part in helping guide Stacy in finishing this project is something I’ll never forget. Sitting in a snowed out Airbnb in the woods with a fridge full of booze and microwaveable taquitos, flying more miles in 12 months than I had in the 4 years prior, session to session, some good, some bad, some horrible. Late night panic phone calls and sometimes laughing so hard my face hurt. Day to day I don’t remember what it feels like to be 21 years old, but listening to these songs makes my mind race with past memories and feelings of that time.Thank you Stacy for trusting me to get these incredibly important songs into the world.The team that was right there as well.
