I am so incredibly proud of all of my sister delegates for initiating such impactful and positive projects. Beauty with a purpose is the heart of Miss World and it is the reason I entered this pageant 💖
Let’s talk about my Beauty with a Purpose project, “Sisters Strong” 💪🏽✨
As an athlete myself (footballer, runner, hiker, touch rugby player) I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of sports.
Through ‘Sisters Strong’, my mission is to:
- Empower women and girls through sport and fitness
- Showcase and educate others on the holistic benefits of Sport and Fitness
- Provide equal opportunities for girls to participate in Sport
- Foster a strong community dedicated to supporting and uplifting girls and women.
It’s not just about physical health; sports offer invaluable mental well-being benefits too!
Sports can also instill essential values like confidence, determination, resilience dedication, and teamwork. These values create a robust foundation for any career path whether it’s on or off the field!
Additionally, sports can provide an alternative career path to more traditional routes and can also offer opportunities to travel and study abroad through scholarships.
For the past month I have been offering free rugby coaching sessions with the Standards 3 to 5 girls at Santa Cruz RC School in partnership with
@school_of_rugby and Coach Blossom @bl055 . I have also offered a free fitness class at my community centre aimed at the older residents and started a new instagram series called “Beyond the Finish Line: Women’s stories in Sport” showcasing the inspiring stories of local female athletes.
A huge thank you to Coach Blossom, School of Rugby, Gasparillo Community Centre and all those who supported Sisters Strong!! And especially to the principal and staff at Santa Cruz RC primary school for welcoming us with open arms! 🥰❤️🏉

It’s hard to believe I almost didn’t show up on screening day… I was so nervous and terrified of stepping into a space so unfamiliar to me.. But a quote I’ve always lived by is that “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone” and last night those words couldn’t have rang truer for me. Don’t be afraid to go for it all and shoot for the stars ! Even if you miss… I guarantee you will have gained something ✨❤️

It is one of life’s greatest honours to represent one’s country and I promise to do everything in my power to make T&T proud. I promise to use my platform with purpose and for positive change 🇹🇹👑✨

Strength, Confidence, Determination, Community, Pride… these represent just some of the attributes that I’ve acquired from participating in sports.
Aside from the physical health benefits of maintaining a high level of fitness… the mental and emotional health benefits are profound.
This is especially true for me personally… the way I de-stress after a bad day, the way I get started for a tough day, the way I figure out a problem that’s stumping me at work…. I work it out… literally 🏃🏽♀️💪🏽⚽️🏈
