Over the years any reason to talk about the past especially in person I avoid with a 10 ft pole. I get severe anxiety attacks before & after accepting the invite and 99% of the time I bail from events/opportunities that I've really wanted to go to. I've been so cautious not to attach my reality to my time in the movies since it's overwhelming how many people cherish their memories of this cult classic. Funnily I've maintained the image I've portrayed in the movie to not rob strangers of associating the person they saw with anything other than what they remember - a happy naughty kid - a stark slap confirming Id rather do something for an unknown person than the thing that will immensely help me which Im finally noticing in the past 3 months and slowly curbing. More on that later or possibly... never😅 . . . When I got invited to surprise my on screen mother - something came over me and I said yes. I could also resonate with the year she's had and anything to make even a "fake" mom smile, I'd happily take. This was such an overwhelming moment, I found myself crying the minute I was alone. Thank you @avalvikatan for making this happen ! @meenasagar16 what a well deserved award, you are an OG Superstar.. thank you for being your gracious self as always. What I said on stage holds true - you look more like youre my sibling 😆 More power and lots of love ❤️ Also, as a reward for showing up- I got to spend time on & off stage with @kalamaster_official whom not many people know is the reason I even did avvai shanmughi as she and Raghuram master scouted me from an ad that my brother was in and I was just visiting him on set. P.s. as a full circle - outfit from my baby bizniz @therebirthcollective 💃 . . . Phew. What a ride it's been

On August 28th 2023, I did something I honestly thought I never would and also became a TedX speaker on the same day. Not only because I didn't think I'll be asked but because I have severe stage fright for many years and avoid any and all stages like the plague. It took months of training by the @tedxnapier team, a little therapy to understand and overcome that fear and amazing friends(and some strangers) who believed in me more than I ever did ❤️ On stage rehersal day, I also realised I was the only speaker that had no reference to any of the things we did at @indiawasted and only added one line to mention my company the night before the event 😅 If you know me I have been speaking about EPR for so long its actually quite grating to hear myself on this rant 🥲 however, Im so glad and grateful that I got the perfect stage (among amazing humans) at the prestigious #Countdown event to share and spread this idea of change with you 💡🙏

Thank you for having me at Amity Global College and for awarding us the Wonder Women award, which I got to accept on behalf of my wonderful @indiawasted family. I got to speak about the importance of collaboration and calculated risks to the MBA students - two important thing's that help you get to where you want to be when you may not always have the resources or support to do so . . . A truly delightful afternoon with the students, faculty, and 2 other awardees, Ms. Rani and Uma Sethuraman of @ziclinic . It was with gratitude that we all listened to both their journeys, and it was tough to hold back the tears when Ms. Rani spoke about the hardships she's faced, and it was humbling, to say the least. We go into battle and come out with scars and bruises, both seen and unseen, but we are all resilient nevertheless. Another day, another lesson was learned . Thank you again for having me 🙂 The cool thing was the campus was at the same building where I worked back in 2015 and many important lessons were learned during this period in my life as an employee !
