This is my journey - preparing to walk the runway for the first time and shred a guitar solo for Black Tape Project.
I’m so proud of this moment; it was truly beautiful and unexpected! I’m 4’11”, never modeled before, and spend most of my time in my room making music, so this was out of character for me to say the least.
This past year has been a transformative one! I’ve embraced my femininity for the first time, (used to be more of a tomboy) and developed a love for aesthetics, style, & makeup. I’ve also continued my passion for body-building and exercise.
In a beautiful turn of events… Black Tape Project asked me to walk in their show. It was a ‘holy shit, of course’ moment, and I began my training, shredding my body & shredding the guitar.
As a female guitarist, I once believed that dressing sexy and playing the guitar didn’t mix because the world wouldn’t take me seriously. In the past, I’ve dressed down to avoid judgement. The truth is, when you put yourself out there, people will criticize you no matter what you do. So, it’s a losing battle. I’m done hiding and trying to please anyone. I will dress to please myself and wear what makes me feel good. A woman can be both sexy and skilled, beautiful and masterful - they are not mutually exclusive.
This was an extremely empowering moment for me. I’ve received support & hate, but that has always been the case since I picked up the guitar 19 years ago. The important thing is that I am proud of myself for taking the risk, combining shred & beauty, and following my heart.

a woman who is intelligent and also knows how to weaponize her beauty…there’s nothing more dangerous than that. There’s nothing more powerful than that. I feel like all women should embrace the fact that as the divine feminine we have a lot of power, and instead of rejecting it, i’m happy to embrace it.
Imagine…suddenly realizing you’re in a simulation. Every mechanical eye turns towards you, their circuits sparking. Now they know, you know. Bullets fly, but they’re not bullets, they’re microchips. Each hit inches you closer to becoming a robot. You feel your body giving in…as massive amounts of data start to surge into your brain. Every facebook post, tweet, & tiktok video is penetrating your consciousness & the screeching is louder than a rocket blaster.
…there is no going back at this point, no return to humanity…before your consciousness is fully digitized…you approach the edge of the skyscraper…
