I was in my second trimester when I took the first photo. My appetite had just started getting better. I was ready to eat more and get out of the 90 pound zone. My birthday was coming up and I felt my baby move for the first time. A lot of new things were happening.
I’m now 8 months pregnant. Time has been flying and going in slow motion. It’s strange. My belly getting bigger by the day, the constant moving going on inside, the vivid dreams… I’m not sure how to put it all into a bunch of words, but it’s definitely beautiful and surreal.
It’s difficult to wrap my head around how I got so lucky to have so many loving and supportive people in my life. I’m so grateful for my family. There’s always someone there every where that I turn. And as I get closer to the end of this pregnancy, the more I feel safe, grounded and ready. I’ve never been so excited to bring new life into this world. And just the fact that I can say that is insane to me.
The unknown can be scary, but mindset is everything. I find comfort in saying that I have no fear. It really is a choice. I know it’s easier said than done, but I’ll be finding out very soon and I’m looking forward to it all.
