Artemide x Pipe
Designed by @herzogdemeuron , Pipe is a demonstration of innovation in technology, materials and manual handling. The head encloses the tapered perforated aluminium diffuser which concentrates the light yet allows a soft diffused glow to shine out and animate the silicone sheath.
Pipe won the prestigious Compasso d'oro award in 2004 for the following reason: «Flexible, slim, sophisticated and playful.»

Artemide x Patroclo
Patroclo, designed in 1975 by Gae Aulenti, was created to interact directly with the space that contains it.
The body is made of transparent blown glass, partially covered by a metal mesh. This armature is obtained by welding steel wires, resistant to the heat of the glass that is blown directly into the cage.

Artemide x Boalum
Boalum designed in 1970 by Livio Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini, and defined by Domus as "a snake of endless light", it immediately became part of the history of Italian and world design. Today is part of numerous collections of design museums, starting with the Museum of Modern Art in Philadelphia or the Museum of Italian Design in Milan.
Boalum is to be considered a visionary dream and forerunner of modern lighting. 50 years ago, the designers created what is now easily achievable with the use of LED.
One of the most interesting features of the lamp is the possibility to connect in series up to 4 elements and create a single light tube of 8 meters that can be shaped as desired.
Today it has been rebuilt replacing the classic light bulbs with high efficiency LED.

Artemide x Manufacturing
Gople's simple shape highlights the beauty of hand-blown glass. Made using an ancient Venetian technique that fuses white glass with crystal, combining them during the blowing process and making each piece unique.
The assembly of this beautiful creation is a process that reflects the precision and attention to detail of a jeweller. Each component is meticulously assembled, displaying the craftsmanship and operational excellence of Artemide, a true symbol of Made in Italy.
From design to production, each step in the process pays homage to beauty, quality and a passion for well-made products.

Artemide x Mendori
Mendori is a table lamp from Artemide's IN-EI series, designed by the legendary Issey Miyake. "IN-EI" (Japanese for "shadow, shadiness, nuance") represents the art of lighting developed by the Miyake Design Studio. In 2010, Issey Miyake and his Reality Lab. team introduced the @1325isseymiyake_official project, which employs a mathematical program with 3D geometric principles. This innovative process allows the creation of clothing that can be folded flat and transformed into 3D shapes from a single piece of fabric. The exploration of this project extended to lighting products through a collaboration with Artemide.
Made of recycled material from PET bottles, Mendori captivates with its beauty and at the same time is a symbol of sustainability. The unique folds, designed using mathematical principles, create statuesque volumes without the need for internal structures. This innovative folding process results in stable, sculptural forms that can be reshaped as required.
The IN-EI series, which includes Mendori, was awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in 2014. This award highlights the exceptional design and technological innovation of the series. The luminous shades and intricate shadows of the lamps transform any space with elegance and sophistication.

Artemide x Unterlinden Outdoor
The characteristic aluminum head of the Unterlinden, designed by @herzogdemeuron , grows in a version with a 17 cm diameter instead of 11 cm, to obtain superior light performance and give rise to a perfect version for outdoor settings too.
In the bollard version, the rod exits the centre of the head without compromising its luminous efficiency achieved thanks to a special optics that opens the light along the path.
In the entire Unterlinden family, simplicity is combined with sophistication, expressed in well-balanced and understated shapes, devised with accurate care for details: functional, elegant and unique both in textures and finishes.
