@doejonesmusic released "So Glad We Met" last month during Mental Health Awareness Month. While the month has passed and she has continued to release more great music for us all, this song continues to give hope while her message also continues to shed light on an important issue that the church has not always handled well. We had to highlight it again!
Through her song and a full special on YouTube, she shared her personal testimony of dealing with ADHD and the importance of approaching mental health from a practical and spiritual viewpoint.
Doe's heart is to create safe spaces in and around the church where life's struggles aren't stigmatized or judged but embraced w/love and compassion.
Doe says,
"Sometimes we need to speak on the gray areas of our life so that we can see real healing and growth in our communities...
This song, “So Glad We Met" is a moving encouragement to keep persisting “when water’s high and hope is low,” and to remember that we are not alone."

Honoring a Tradition in the Gospel Music community, this FREE inspirational music festival brings audiences of all ages and backgrounds from across the city and the across the nation as they all travel to gather together to celebrate the power of Gospel music in the city of Chicago where the genre of Gospel music was born over 80 years ago!
