This was a special day for me and for The New Manual of Nude Photography because I was visited by 4 men who were nervous and excited to be naked in front of each other. They were funny at times and they were serious at times. Most importantly they were vulnerable the entire time, not because they were Nude, but because they trusted each other and they trusted me with the various strange poses and movements requiring them to hold hands or hold each other. It seemed to have been a very rewarding experience for them. Thanks guys for giving me and this project something it really needed for the world to see. I am still looking for a few more men on the spectrum of gender or color who are willing to be a part of this as I’m already editing down the work to put the book together in the coming months!

Always in love with any @goodnighthospitality concept. So when @junerodil reached out about shooting @marigoldclubhtx I was flattered and filled with excitement. She even decided to spend her birthday with me on shoot day 2. To make shooting an effortlessly beautiful place even more enjoyable we had @zacharyhorst with us both days. I don’t share much of my food, beverage, and hospitality work on here but I should? Yea, I should especially when @austinwaiter is on the ones n twos whipping up insane beef wellington and caviar sandwiches?!!!
At @marigoldclubhtx every table is a stage and every customer is in for their own unique experience with every visit. Pro tip “Get Chuffed” thank me later.

Main question I’ve been getting is “what’s he like?” Shaq is the guy we all already know. He’s the life of the party. He’s funny. He’s committed. He’s focused. He’s into people’s ideas even if they aren’t his. He has always been inspiring to me for many reasons but the best reason now has to be the time and energy he committed to our shoot. Wildly enough I photographed his daughter Me’Arah a few months prior… so the universe is doing something I like.

So I replied with “hey I know a somm… let’s do it.” and they said replied with “we already have one in mind” we both had the inimitable @junerodil on our mind and in our hearts.
