Our #PassTheSpark runners made it to Franconville and visited the stadium of Mekdes Woldu’s “French dad” Gérard. 🏟️ He shared the incredible journey of how @mekdeswoldu came to France from Eritrea, grew up, and found her passion for running despite not liking it initially. Her story is truly inspiring. 💫 Today is the last day, and we’re ready for you, Paris! 🔜🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Energy levels are high, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone at the open leg to run the last 10km with us before reaching the city of lights. #SoundMindSoundBody

Today, our #PassTheSpark journey took our runners from Gouda 🇳🇱 to Ghent 🇧🇪, via the city of Rotterdam. This morning, we were honored to chat with @dianevanes former coach for some incredible insights. 🙌 We also received a heartwarming video from @bashirabdi204 once we arrived in Ghent, cheering our runners on and wishing them the best of luck on their journey to Paris. ❤️ #SoundMindSoundBody

Yesterday, we finished our run from Kassel to Gouda on day 3 of the #PassTheSpark Relay! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💫 On our way to Gouda, we visited the ASICS Europe HQ, invited local runners to join us for a 10km open leg, and had a heartwarming dinner with @maureenkoster ‘s former coach and his wife, sharing childhood stories and training insights with our runners. Let’s keep moving minds! 😍 #SoundMindSoundBody

Counting down the days as our athletes embark upon the #RoadtoParis2024 🇫🇷

Day 2 of our #PassTheSpark challenge was truly special. 💫 From Friedrichshafen (DE) all the way up to Kassel (DE), this day was quite intense. Our runners welcomed our open leg participants about 13km before the arrival in Kassel. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Also, we had the honor of spending the evening at our @asicsrunning athlete @laura_hottenrott ‘s parents home. Her mum and dad welcomed us into their home garden for a cozy BBQ. 🌭🥗 We even got to chat with Laura’s father, who is also her coach, sharing valuable insights and memories about her childhood. ‘Laura was a very active child. From Jujitsu to swimming and mountain biking, she was unstoppable: but quickly she realized running would become her driving force.’ #SoundMindSoundBody

Our journey started in Cles (Italy), towards Friedrichshafen (Germany). This part of the relay was inspired by Italian athlete @nadia.battocletti , reminiscing her hometown.
