Day 1 of the Poitier LA Film Summer Camp has popped off! 13 campers are on site at the ASU California Centers in Los Angeles for 3 days this week to work with renowned faculty on writing, directing, producing and editing their own projects. "This week the campers will catch a quick glimpse into the process of creating and idea, organizing a production and editing a final project, all in 3 whirlwind days. The Sidney Poitier New American Film School students gear up for tonight's kick off of a 2-day Senior Showcase, featuring 17 short films. "I’m incredibly proud of our capstone students who overcame many obstacles to deliver wonderfully crafted stories and high production value short films. Their collaboration, hard work and dedication have been impressive, and I look forward to seeing how their careers progress." says post-production professor Janaki Cedanna.
