IT’S GIVING: refreshed, rejuvenated, transformed, confident, still healing and back in ACTION at @b.cartersolutions ! 👏🏾 My first day back to work and I’m like… 🏋🏾‍♂️😬👍🏾👊🏾🙀👏🏾🫶🏾💪🏾 All the emotions lol…. A common misconception as it relates to entrepreneurship and business is that CEO’s are afraid to take necessary sabbaticals and find themselves overwhelmed, overworked, stressed severely and performing at their lowest. This was MY STORY. The amount of pressure, challenges, failures, responsibilities I was facing was immensely overwhelming. Stress is the number #1 silent killer, and here it was — literally and figuratively trying to kill me. Taking 60 full days off for my mental health was the best decision I could have made professionally and personally. The most significant benefit of my sabbatical was my renewed perspective. I saw challenges with new eyes. My energy was revived, and I could address the needs of my team/clients instead of allowing my fatigue to cause my focus to remain mostly on managing my own. So, here’s a HUGE thank you to @bekimbetoni who stepped in and stepped up as COO and to our Creative Director, @theeugenebaah who really reassured that we as a team were going to be better than ever with his prayers 🙏🏾 (Get you a team who prays!) and to all key players and account managers who made sure to work in excellence. Huge thank you to our loyal clients who allowed me to really take my time in this space and trust the vision that I created. Here’s to new projects, new vision and a NEW leader who’s ready to end Q4 strong and focus on new beginnings, new opportunities, new relationships and a new whole and healing Brittney.🤞🏾🙏🏾 P.S.
