Relax and take in the festival and live music from lounge seating overlooking the Blundstone MainStage, skip waiting in line and be served your Trident Seafood’s Alder-smoked Salmon BBQ meal*, and sip on a variety of complimentary beer, wine, cocktail and non-alcoholic beverages, surrounded by your favorite clients, friends or colleagues.
This elevated festival experience is offered to a limited number of passport holders, and allows festivalgoers to enjoy the festival at their own pace. With in-and-out privileges, you can do a little shopping at local shops and down vendor lane, explore the many food offerings, watch the street entertainment, have your mouthwatering salmon BBQ dinner served to you while sipping and enjoying the live music in an exclusive space. WE'VE CAUGHT A BOATLOAD OF SEAFOODFEST VOLUNTEERS BUT HAVEN'T MET OUR QUOTA FOR THE SEASON! Calling all friends who want to be a part of our fun community in Ballard. We still have some volunteer slots to fill for the 50th Annual Ballard SeafoodFest on July 12 - 14, 2024. There are a variety of positions to meet any ability level. Volunteers receive a complimentary @tridentseafoods Alder-smoked salmon BBQ dinner with each shift.
SeafoodFest volunteers are welcome to wear branded clothing showing off which organization or business they are representing. This free community festival , a fundraiser for the betterment of the Ballard neighborhood, is made possible each year through the work of our dedicated team of volunteers. Ballard SeafoodFest has something special for all age groups. Our Kids Deck will take over the Ballard Library and Commons Park area during the festival weekend. Illumination Learning Studio has a stellar lineup of live performers, story time, dance, demonstrations, music and more on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14.
Saturday's entertainment includes Festi-bowl at the Ballard Commons Park. Festi-bowl is celebrating 10 years and is an all-ages all-ability levels skateboarding competition with live music, skateboarding demonstrations and various contests.
The Giant Purple Slide will return and there will be a variety of street performers, food and treats available all weekend long. See you in Ballard on July 12-14, 2024!

Through the help of our sponsors, volunteers and the support of the local business community, this has been a FREE community event since 1974 - when it started out as a neighborhood salmon bbq.
This deliciously fun festival is also a giant neighborhood fundraiser! All proceeds from the festival are reinvested in the year-round programs that enhance the neighborhood, through the projects, events and programs administered by the non-profit, the Ballard Alliance.

BALLARD SEAFOODFEST RELEASES 2024 POSTER DESIGN BY ARTIST SHOGO OTA!
The Ballard SeafoodFest team has revealed this year's festival poster design. The new SeafoodFest design is a part of a three-year series featuring art from the very talented Shogo Ota.
Last year, we debuted the first design of the series that captured the essence of the King salmon and the festival's playful vibe.
This year's poster honors the Sockeye salmon and has many Pacific Northwest/Ballard inspired elements included, as well as a nod to this year marking SeafoodFest's 50th anniversary.
The poster captures our view of the Olympic mountains, an Orca, a fishing vessel returning to port, a branded anchor and that delicious Alder-smoked Trident salmon we offer at the salmon BBQ - the centerpiece that started it all 50 years ago.
"I always enjoy coming up with different styles of art, with a focus on what would look good for specific events and clients. Working with local clients like the Ballard Alliance is so much fun! I can actually attend the event, and connect with the awesome communities and people," said Shogo.
This year's poster design will also be featured on our festival t-shirts and other merchandise sold at the event.
Shogo Ota @shogodzilla is a Seattle-based artist with international reach. The Ballard Alliance has enjoyed working with him on this three-year branding journey and we're excited to share his talents with 75,000+ festivalgoers this summer on July 12-14, 2024. If you are looking for an artist to design your branding, packaging, custom art projects, screen printing, murals and more, please reach out to him.
