Since its x games here we go a run from 1997 @xgames 27 years ago in San Diego double bar catch to catch … This contest was legendary from big sponsors to huge parties we had a lot of fun. My father drove all of us Bmx punks to this event a few days earlier in a an old school Lincoln limo. Good memories….

I remember driving to this contest in a 1987 dodge caravan with wood paneling known to a lot as soil van 01
I remember my window fell out and exploded on the 55 freeway then @mikemetzger drove by me out of nowhere laughing… yewww
In 1998 I flew to Portugal I had no place to stay I remember back then there was one travel agency for Bmx I think owned by the Gary Ellis family. I told the agent just get me on a flight with other Bmx riders. I ended up on a flight with the hoffman bikes team Kevin Robinson Chad Kagy and Day smith they let me stay at some really cool villa really far from the contest. It was a super cool event the memories are great from hanging out with Bart Delong to reuniting with Paul Robert’s and thomas wullschlager it was an awesome time.
