The “why” behind my journey to Miss Volunteer America ✨ When I received a call about competing for Miss South Carolina Volunteer, it was my wake up call to remember my why- to remember why I started competing in pageants in the first place. Here’s a glimpse of that answer and how opening up this door that brought me to @missvolunteeramericapag was easily one of the best decisions of my life so far. Thank you @kapturedbykyle for capturing so much of my story and the journey that’s brought me to this moment. Thank you to the Board of Directors of the @missscvolpageant for believing in me. I am forever grateful for your love, support, and encouragement as I took every step towards achieving our goals throughout this year. Dear old Clemson, thank you will never be enough. 🧡 Attending Clemson was one of my childhood dreams, and I always knew I would do everything I could to make that happen. Little did I know what the last 4 special years would have in store. The opportunities, friendships, and memories made here in Clemson will hold a special place in my heart forever. To the rising college freshman that may still be reading this, my advice to you is this: pray bold prayers, work hard, live in the moment, and most of all… never give up on yourself. 🙏🏼 Tomorrow’s the day this special chapter closes, and the next one begins. Dreamt a hundred thousand dreams before ✨ June 2024 was unbelievable! America, let’s have a year! This song played during the crowning, and I cried even more 😭 God’s timing is so beautiful- never give up and keep the faith! All the hard work, dedication, perseverance, and everything in between… it all had a purpose in leading me to this opportunity. 13 year old Berkley wouldn’t believe this. One week ago my life changed forever, and I still don’t think it’s fully hit me! I got straight to work, and this is just the beginning 🥺✨ What a dream! Saturday June 22nd was a day I’ll never forget. I’m so thankful for my family, friends, pageant family, volunteers, and many more that made those special moments even more special for me! I hit the ground running Sunday morning with news interviews, meetings, first official photo shoot, and a visit to Mrs. Jane’s where I was truly given the ultimate royal treatment! I then hit the road for Nashville where I had two more media interviews before heading home to South Carolina! I was not going to let the post-pageant sickness bring me down, so I’m getting all rested up for the travels I have coming up!!! I can’t wait to bring y’all along with me 🥰 #MissVolunteerAmerica #MVA #SERVE

Nothing inspired me more than the women I got to know while competing at Miss Volunteer America 🥺 Swipe to see some of the memories I’ll never forget with women from across the country! I truly met some of the most genuine girls throughout the competition. We supported one another, cheered for each other, cried together, laughed together… all the way through the end of finals! To me, the friendships I built were so telling of the culture and character of this organization, and I’m so thankful to know each and every one of them. Every young woman worked SO HARD to be in the position we were in last week. They inspire me so much, and I can’t wait to cheer them on in whatever the future has in store for them! I get to reunite with so many of them as the year goes on, and I can’t wait! There are so many stories I could tell about my nationals experience, but all I can say is you definitely will want to experience it for yourself! Feeling like the luckiest girl in the world 😭 The day after I won Miss Volunteer America, @officialjanealderson and @allisondemarcus welcomed me into the family with open arms!!! I was showered in gifts that I never in a million years would expect to receive… diamonds, Louis Vuitton, Gucci sunglasses, ostrich Robert James bag @robertjamesluxury … I could go on and on! @missvolunteeramericapag really treats their girls like family, and I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of it. I also got to open up my official crown box provided by @crowncouturecollection , new luggage pieces for all my travels coming up, and so much more!
