Details ✨ Me and Sam spent hours in our local cafe designing our wedding signage & stationery together. It was a really lovely part of the planning. We used the same vibes & design from invitations (gorgeously pressed by @inkandpaper_ldn ) right the way through to the signage. Our fabric signage was all printed onto cotton-muslin and we used Penny’s beautiful white frames. Godwick has some incredible features in their barn, one being a large alcove to the left of the ceremony space. Me and Sam knew we wanted to hang a large soft fabric sign here and it worked so well 🤍 We spent hours in our local cafe designing our signage & stationery together in the months leading up to our wedding day. We printed our signage onto soft cotton-muslin, sheer and delicate, and my current favourite style 🤍 We did a mixture of fabric signage and matte card signage, opting for the card for the smaller pieces, they compliment each other really well, I do like to mix materials. We knew we wanted our decor to be more modern and simple, so we went for a really beautiful serif font, you might have seen this font before (it’s my branding 👀). We love it and it fit so perfectly for us and our decor, we love the simplicity. When your gallery comes through and you favourite 1,400 photos out of 1,400 photos 🥹 I’m just going to leave you with the message we had to send Luis right after we looked through our gallery, because we are still speechless at the insane talent he is. “We have just finished looked through our gallery 😭 YOU ARE A GENIUS!! Hiring you was one of the best decisions we have and will ever make. You have such a gift and you have captured our day in the most incredible way. Just the most wonderful couple of hours re-living every moment. Thank you so much, you have no idea how special these photos are to us. We also want to say how at ease you made us and all of our guests throughout the day. You can really feel it through the photos. The candid shots of all of our friends and family are amazing; we will cherish them for a lifetime. You have managed to capture everybody’s personality so well, always waiting for the perfect moment. The artistic shots are just wonderful, we wanted more than just wedding photos, and you have delivered that and more. Not to forget all of the moments of pure emotion you have captured between us. Nothing feels staged, it all just feels real. That’s exactly what we wanted from our photos so we couldn’t be happier. Thank you 😭” We really did just embrace and enjoy the day as it came and everything was captured magically. We didn’t spend time posing / herding guests for photos, which was something we knew would take up a lot of time when we wanted to be spending our time with everyone, enjoying time as husband and wife, drinking + eating our delicious food. Our slightly smaller guest count enabled us to get round to everyone and have photos of every single guest enjoying themselves. Luis managed to capture everyone everywhere and being able to witness our wedding through his eyes in little pockets of moments between guests is amazing.
