Most of our stories begin with adversity, facing challenges and overcoming burdens that shape a new version of ourselves. That’s my story too. I turned a grave part of my life into a learning experience, becoming a creator of change.
As a 20-year-old, I navigate life’s challenges, cherishing moments and memories. My awards, degree pursuit, nor job define me. I am the woman who embodies compassion, empathy, and understanding, serving others and proudly representing my community and country. Education is our path to a better life, and combining it with advocacy changes lives.
My greatest achievement lies in my journey. I graduated secondary school during the pandemic, overcame health and mental health obstacles, and blossomed. Guided by my experiences, I’ve dedicated my career to humanitarianism, focusing on environmental and gender development projects.
In Trinidad and Tobago, our diverse cultures, religions, and traditions enrich our lives. Proud to be Trinidadian, I contribute to our society’s progress, appreciating our differences and our people’s resilience.
I’m committed to helping underprivileged communities in T&T, advocating for awareness of period poverty through my non-profit,
@theamuletjournal . Together, as a nation, we can make a difference, transcending expectations through unity and collaboration.
This is the revolution I envision for my country and its proud people.🇹🇹❤️
