BRIGHTON MARATHON 2024 ☀️
There’s no denying that the last year and a half has been the most difficult of my life. Of all the cruel things that have happened in that time, being told I was shit at running is one of the things that has stuck with me. I was always determined to prove not to them, but to myself, that I can do hard things, even on my own.
The truth is, I can’t do these things on my own. I’m completed indebted to the incredible people around me, many of who came out to support me on the day. You all know who you are and I’m forever grateful 🩷 Yes, that does also include Hasbulla.
@abbyrosebryant you never fail to impress me. Seriously. I couldn’t have got through those long, cold, wet, windy and hungover runs without you. Or the last 26+ years tbf. Your toes may be minging but there’s nobody else I’d rather have a celebratory snog with, medals and all.
