Mainstream audiences have shown they still love Will Smith and Everybody Hates Chris. ‘Bad Boys Ride or Die’ has passed $130M at the global box office on a budget of $100M.\n\nThis is not just great news for Will but also for Director me Bilall & my partner Adil whose Batgirl movie was INFAMOUSLY canned by Warner Bros for tax purposes. Congrats to all of them.\n\nThere is a catch tho.. for a movie to be profitable it has to make 2.5X its budget (this includes Marketing and other costs). So Bad Boys is still a bit ways off from the $250M it needs.\n\nBut don’t worry, Are you surprised that audiences did not hold a grudge against Will after The Slap? Check out my video where I explain in detail why BAD BOYS success means The Fresh Prince has been uncanceled.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah's drama "Rebel" has has won the award for Best Narrative Feature at the Philadelphia Film Festival and the Audience Award at KlikFilm World Cinema Week in Jakarta, the latest in a slew of recognitions and awards from festivals and critics across the globe.
