The Pink Studio was the inclusive venue of our dreams and we’re super grateful to Natalie for helping us make this event an accessible reality. We are especially grateful to our readers: K Zimmer, Isabella Iannetta (who also helped behind-the-scenes of the event) Gemma Files, and Dana Daniels from Blue Sky Learning, who also brought along fidgets for audience members to use during the readings. We’re so excited to announce our line-up of readers for June 1st! Blessing us with their poems and stories are: Jody Chan, K Zimmer, Isabella Iannetta, and Gemma Files. Each reader will stick around for a little Q&A after their set. Sick Stories founder Sophie will also be speaking with Dana from Blue Sky Learning about the importance of disability and neurodivergence representation and pride, particularly in entrepreneurship. Readings will begin around 6pm. We welcome you to arrive for 5:30 to browse merch, buy raffle tickets and choose which prizes you want a chance to win, and ease into the space with some writing activities.
