If you’ve been following us for a while now, you know that we are very open about gym struggles, especially on vault. This time last year, Blythe was struggling terribly on vault. She ran slow, she wouldn’t reach, she never made it over the mat, and she just couldn’t grasp the concept of blocking. It was like watching a train wreck each time she went to practice on vault. She never gave up though! She continued to get out there and try to do better for herself each practice and each meet. Fast forward to this year and Blythe is like a new person on vault. THANK YOU SWEET BABY JESUS IN THE MANGER! 🤣 She is so happy that her hard work is finally paying off.

Every gymnast will face mental blocks or difficulties. That’s the name of the game in this sport. The only things that matter are that you stay kind to yourself, you show up, and you TRY. This season we are sending encouragement to all of you who may be having a difficult time learning a new skill or series. Give yourself grace, and know that now is the time to show up so that, soon, you can show out! ❤️
