Wow! What a spring season we’ve had!
Now that the holiday season is starting it is a good moment to reflect on all the cool stuff we’ve been involved in during the past six months. Huge shoutout to all our clients, artists, talents and industry professionals, we’ve had the pleasure of working with.

Flying bigger drones in cities or over highly populated areas is getting more and more complicated, and in almost all of the cases specific category licences from the operators are required.
Don’t worry! Our aerial cinematography partner @aeria_finland has all the licences needed, and they’re familiar with current aerial legistlation and drone operation requirements, enabling safe and legit way to get your productions aerial scenes done.
Our drone fleet includes various options from heavy duty drones all the way to ”pocket sized” mavics. In the picture you can see our Inspire 3 which also happens to be the latest addition to our fleet. In other words we always have the right solution for your productions needs.
Dop @samirehmonen_dop and director @dop_jokinen was trusted with the task of renewing the visual storytelling of the iconic Finnish reality TV show ”Suuri Seikkailu”! ✨
The mission? To bring new life to this beloved classic, which originally aired between 2001 and 2005.

Say hi to Ville, who will be in charge of leading our strategic development projects. Ville has earned his key by running a production company for over a decade and managing global marketing projects for the past three years. Our collaboration is no new news - Ville has been working with us as an advisor for the past years on a consultancy basis.
We have always believed in investing in people, and we wouldn’t be Bongo without our people. Even the times are a bit tough now we feel it shouldn’t be used as an excuse to stop setting our sights on the future and developing our capabilities to provide even more value to our customers, partners, and other stakeholders.

During the demo day, the car scenes were created in a Virtual LED Studio at Angel Films B-Studio.
@bongobongoboys offers a service for the shooting of background plates for car scenes, either in an LED studio or with green screen technology.
@formlos.studio provides a 7x3.5 metre LED screen and acts as LED supervisor during the shoot.

Introducing our Camera Operator service! And with this announcement we want to welcome our new member Iris!
We are excited to announce the launch of our Camera Operator service, which aims to raise the profile of camera operator culture in Finland.
Our operators are multi-skilled and can operate as A- or B-camera operators through production and have a wide knowledge of Steadicam and Remote Head equipment.
We will update you in the coming months with more detailed bios and introductions to each of our operators.

Mission: A spectacular music video for two of the biggest A-list artists of the moment, Gettomasa and Sexmane, on a short notice. The video should include a snowstorm and a fire in the cave.
Execution: Creative consultation with the creative team to find out what things can be leave to the VFX team and what things can be done on set. Try to get everything to fit in two days of shooting. Also scout the best locations in Helsinki.
Outcome: #1 on Youtube and 100,000 views in just a few days, plus an additional music video for ”Väärin” and also a side-product of display advertising for subway stations.
