On film Florence. August 2023 I was thinking about how magical and small the art and cathedrals in Italy made me feel. Magical and small. Both elements, interwoven and wrapped meticulously, hand delivered with a precious note. Small in the way that makes space for ego death, but not enough room for feelings of inconsequence. It’s the same way surviving a car crash gives you new perspective not in spite of how small your life is, but because of it. So small, and yet, and yet, everything.
