Lucas Zoltai is Zozobra's AV Deputy and a proud member of the Santa Fe Kiwanis Club. Lucas been obsessed with Zozobra for over 21 years and has been drawing him constantly throughout that time. The Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe announces the first-ever Online Video National Anthem Auditions! . Who will sing the National Anthem at Zozobra 2020? This has been a very trying year, especially for those whose creative minds make them want to act positively. We have seen so many amazing ways in which talented artists like you have shared their musical gifts from their home space. Now it’s your turn to share –– at the 96th Burning of Zozobra! . Now more than ever, our community needs to burn its gloom and the tradition that we love, the Burning of Zozobra on Friday, September 4, 2020, will once again give our fellow New Mexicans the chance to move toward a brighter future together. . The Burning this year will be broadcast live on @koat7 with a webcast online. The pageant itself will take place live at Fort Marcy Park as always, but with no crowd, all eyes will be on Zozobra via a TV or computer screen. A meaningful part of this annual tradition is the singing of our National Anthem, and for the first time ever the Kiwanis is proud to host an Online Video National Anthem Audition for performers of all ages! .
