19 years ago we played Glastonbury festival on the John Peel Stage. The grounds had flooded so badly our van got stuck and started to fill with water and had to be pulled out by a tractor 😂 We were covered in mud by the time we hit the stage. Now I understand why everyone wears rain boots, but we were unprepared! We saw other artists being carried to the stage by security so they wouldn’t get their outfits ruined 😂

Our first album “Be Your Own Pet” is 18 years old today!!!! Hard to believe this album is old enough to vote 🤯🤯🤯 We were super excited to have our album get the release date of 6/6/06 😈 We did our first full US tour that summer, and even got to open up some @sonicyouth_official shows 🤩 What is your favorite song on the album??
