This white speckled clay called "Dragon Fruit" is the first one I used. It fires up to #cone6 with an absorption of 1%. For decoration, I kept it simple and used a satin yellow matte glaze on the inside. Centering 15 lbs (~7 kg) of 153 stoneware made by @standardclaycompany . It was a sweat! 😆 When throwing big amounts of clay, pretty much you are using your body weight to keep the clay centered. This practice was in preparation to throw a few bigger pieces in the coming weeks.
