This Saturday I'll be in conversation with the brilliant @caleb_anelson at the @britishlibrary for the Food Season. Caleb, recently awarded the Dylan Thomas Prize, and I will be discussing the importance of food in his groundbreaking novels Open Water and Small Worlds and I cannot wait. From tense family gatherings around a barbecue to the solace of a family-run shop, we'll delve into how these spaces ground, protect and influence us.
