people of campfire pt.1 Caylee is one of our pastry team members here at Campfire. While she’s been with us for 9 months, her baking journey started at the young age of 11. Her passion started from watching the Food Network, claiming to her family that she wants to be a chef. She soon started baking cookies to bring to school to share with her friends and teachers. While her pastry journey may have taken a turn as she attended university and worked an office job for a couple years, Caylee managed to make her way back to her roots as a baker, eventually landing at Campfire. Caylee, you have brought so much joy to our family. Your humor and ambition are truly unmatched, but over all your selflessness and love for others is top tier. Wayward Child- Last Friday marked James’ final day of service at Campfire. After two remarkable years, he embarks on a new chapter, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for him. As a parting gesture, he graced us with ‘The Wayward Child’—an original cocktail crafted by James himself. You’ll forever have a seat at our table. Thank you for being part of our community. Give her hell. -Tequila -Toasted Cream Amazake -Cinnamon -Lemon Toasted Cream Amazake: This creation is inspired by our kitchen’s innovative use of amazake and the nostalgic charm of horchata. We incorporate Koji, cooked rice inoculated with mold, along with cinnamon, and then introduce heavy cream into a pressure cooker for a two-hour “toasting” process, reminiscent of browning butter.
