🌄Watching the sun go down on humbling, tear filled days is one thing I will always be thankful for. Taking time for the beauty is medicine to my soul.🌅
People are not so different from trees, often our connections are not seen on the outside but rather they are the roots that ground us and help us to feel seen and loved. Sometimes you meet people and you just know you were meant to cross paths and you feel like you've always known them. One never knows that way nature and beauty will speak to us, if we will pay attention.

This is how I see Michaelangelos "David". What moved me was the details of his arms. Arms have always been my favorite things on a man as they represent safety and comfort, something many of us long for and most never truly find, I am no different. It was Michaelangelo that drew me here to Italy through this statue and now I have answered the call. It isn't the statue that was the journey but it was the draw to propel me to the journey. Now to leave the comforts of these fans in this cafe-bistrot and step back out onto the uneven sidewalks and blend in with other travelers on their own journeys to find their own "Davids".
