Little clip of @gillianemurphy as Clarissa and myself as Septimus in Act I of @studiowaynemcgregor ‘Woolf Works’. We’ll be performing these roles on Saturday, April 13th at 2pm at the @segerstromarts 🙌🏼 It’s been an amazing experience exploring and bringing these characters into life. Even though they never actually meet each other in person in Virginia Woolf’s “Mrs.Dalloway”, the war veteran Septimus Smith is an alter ego of the protagonist, Clarissa Dalloway and this pas de deux reflects common anxieties.
