Playlist Dancer, Yasmine PJ faced a huge challenge when she tore her ACL during rehearsals in 2023. Despite the shock and the thought of a 12-month-long recovery after surgery, Yasmine decided to take it head-on and fight. Going from a pro dancer to relearning basic moves was tough, but Yasmine was tougher. With determination and support from her friends, cast mates, and supervisors, she embraced all the small victories. Now, 11 months post-operation, she’s regained her strength ready to head to Carnival Luminosa. Yasmine believes everything happens for a reason. We asked Nadia about a moment in her life that influenced her, and here's her reply: "A little moment that influenced my life would have to be when I was introduced to the musical “The Prom” by a group of close friends who really helped me feel comfortable to embrace who I am. Listening to the music for the first time brought tears to my eyes.
