Work-in-progress from two superb comedians!
FATIHA EL-GHORRI: Cockney Stacking Doll
Underneath Fatiha’s colourful hijab is a mind full of cutting observations and engaging witticism of the life and times of a British Muslim woman. Winner of the Best Debut Show at 2023’s Leicester Comedy Festival, Fatiha smashes the Muslim stereotypes and challenges people to think about what they think they know about Muslims; Muslim women especially. She tackles some tough subjects like Islamophobia and dating by sharing her own experiences which are funny, thought provoking and honest! As seen on The Jonathan Ross Show, Outsiders and The Russell Howard Hour.
PETER RETHINASAMY: Work in Progress
Born and raised in Belfast to a Malaysian father and Irish mother, Peter is a comedian with hard hitting, punchy jokes and hilarious tales about his family, girlfriend, and growing up in Northern Ireland. As seen on Comedy Central Live, BBC Northern Ireland’s Blame Game, and winner of the London Comedy Store King Gong Competition, Peter has been supporting Russell Kane, Seann Walsh and Kevin Bridges on tour around the country. He also has his own podcast with fellow comedian and good friend Luke Craig “Luke and Pete talking sheet”. Peter’s acting credits include ‘Ted Lasso’, and Sky’s upcoming Christmas feature ‘Joy To The World’ starring Timothy Spall & James Nesbitt.
Peter replaces the previously billed Jack Skipper.
