It can be easy to fall into only playing the role of “mom” it felt nice to dress up, go out to lunch, dinner and take time ordering our food. The leisure of being able to lay in bed and not have responsibilities felt heavenly. The first day/night was hard and we were both missing our boys but at the same time it was amazing to spend a few nights away from our babes 💙💙💙. A getaway to Monterey with the husband was much needed before I get into a busier season of work 🤰#doula #motherhood #parenting #getaway

Each doula I’ve met brings something unique and has a fresh perspective. I’ve learned so many things from watching other people navigate their way, but have always chooses to do what feels the most authentic to me. It’s been a beautiful journey leaning into doing more of what feels effortless but would also be worth all the work to get the feelings it brings when it’s happening. Music has always been a soothing source for my soul. To be able to express my gifts through sound isn’t something that I ever thought I would do. It’s always been a passion of mine, but not something that I chased. The way that sound healing found me is a story for another time.
