When you surround yourself with people who believe in you and you can borrow their confidence in the process when you need an extra nudge or are having doubts brought me a sense of calm that is hard to describe. Stepping into my power and embracing all of me healed so many aspects of my being. 🦋 I am forever grateful to my mentor/birth doula @lbreggy and my midwife @pushmidwifery they held my hands throughout my #pregnancy and also guided me during a really dark time in my life I lost my brother to #suicide when I was 32 weeks pregnant🤰
They gave me a safe space to grieve and also the permission I needed to take care of myself. 🌻Being the caretaker/fixer of my family it was hard to not sacrifice myself to fix things for everyone else. But I knew I didn’t have the capacity and needed to focus on my own #mentalhealth and well being. These two badass woman changed the trajectory of my life, and I hope I can pay it forward 💎🐅”
