The challenge to not edit this music video like a tour video was surprising. Felt like I had to tune my brain a little bit differently, but I tried to keep some parts of my style, & timing & the way I like slow motion. Felt cool to finally let some shots play out and breathe. I think on some level I prefer that in videos but I feel like you’re always fighting for people attention when you make instagram content, so I keep those really fast. — I feel like I’m not much of an editor, it’s just taste and timing with me so if that doesn’t work I don’t really have alot to fall back on. So I’m really glad when it works.

Go watch the “STUCK” music video. Thanks
I promise I don’t own a drone

Sometimes I’m not fair to myself putting really sick clips in edits for like a 1/10 of a second, sometimes the full shot is just.. sick. That’s why I started doing these lil clip dumps 🫡
Today is exactly 2 years since my first show ever with @nothingmoremusic more. 7 tours later. Wild

When I first started settling into my style a couple years ago. I just knew I liked fast edits, and would kind of use any shaky decently shot clip to fill the pacing, often quick almost incoherent footage, but then I got bored really fast. And realized how important (for me) the quality and uniqueness of the individual shots were even if you’d only see it for 4 frames in a video. I’ve really been enjoying the effect that mentality has had on work . This video feels like me doing that at my best.
It’s been 5 months since my last clip dump. Time to bring that back.

Feel like I’ve been posting less and less every tour. I think I just really want to make sure everything I put out into the world i exciting to look at. And I keep setting that bar further and further away. But some cool shots I was stoked on.
