As we begin this month, we want to remind our furriends and family that June is National Indigenous History month and Pride month. These are 2 very important celebrations for all of us here. We are a proudly QTBIPOC (Queer Trans Black Indigenous People of Colour) run organization. With ongoing issues of Indigenous reconciliation, as well as the struggles of the queer community, on Turtle Island and around the world, we believe it's important to mention the personal significance of this month. We hope that if you celebrate any or all of these identities, you feel safe and welcome, especially in our centre!!
