Atlas J. Cosme (AJ) arrived April 10th at 6:50am. His birth was so special because he shares my Dad’s birthday. I could feel my Dad’s energy with us the entire time. 💙
He is also a Masters baby, which couldn’t make Nick more proud! ⛳️🏌️♂️

In just 5 short weeks I’ll be crowning the next Mrs. Indiana-American (and having a baby). It was so lovely to meet the 2024 class of Indiana contestants today.
I’m excited to say that I will continue to promote the empowerment of girls in STEM even after my reign is over. I have been working with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation to become trained in building ROVs. I’m learning everything from electrical circuits, to sensors, and to steering a vehicle under water. In July I will travel to a coastal town west of Seattle to build my own ROV. My ROV will be shipped back to Indiana where I can continue to educate young girls on the various STEM opportunities that are available to them. I’m so thankful to be able to continue to promote my pageant platform of ‘Girls in STEM!’

I had the honor of speaking to the class 1A-4A IHSAA volleyball state teams, their families, coaches, athletic trainers, and IHSVCA Hall of Fame inductees.
The Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association did an amazing job hosting the banquet and I’m grateful to have been a part of it. I’m so happy that I was able to tell my life stories to these young women and give them final words of encouragement before they went into one of the most important matches of their lives up to this point.
For my last night in Vegas I went and cheered on my Indiana sister, @jessie_sarlls , as she competed for Mrs. America. She killed the stage and looked absolutely beautiful!
After the pageant I finally left the hotel with Nick for the first time in 10 days. I experienced In-N’-Out Burger for the first time! 😋
So excited to see my babies when I get home!!! 🩷💙
Wow! What an experience! Lastnight I competed for the title of Mrs. American, and although I didn’t win, I’m still beyond proud of myself for trying something new and making it all the way to the national stage. This was my second ever pageant, with my state pageant being my first.
We competed on the stage where Elvis once performed when he held his residency at the @westgateresorts in Las Vegas. Seeing pictures of Elvis all over the dressing room and around the hotel was really special. One night we ate dinner in the suite where Elvis used to live (more pics to come on that night).
I am so excited to get back home to see Coral and Kai. Not seeing them has been the biggest challenge of being in Vegas for 10 days. If you zoom in on my evening gown it looks like a species of brain coral. Coral was with me when I tried it on and she said, “Mommy, you’re wearing me!” There was definitely a part of her spirit with me when I walked out on stage in my gown.
Thank you to my friends and family who traveled all the way to Vegas to watch me on stage. I love you so much!!
I made new friendships, learned a lot about myself, and definitely improved my wardrobe! 😂
What’s next for me and my family? There is definitely something in the works, but right now we are going to enjoy this Fall season eating food, making s’mores, and nonstop snuggle hugs! 🥰
Day 6: Interview! 🤍
This was my 4th interview dress option. I had a few unexpected challenges. I bought it yesterday, had it altered lastnight, and BAM it all came together.
I broke a heel walking down to interview. Thankfully another beautiful pageant queen quickly gave me a pair she wasn’t wearing. Things don’t always go as planned, but I went into that interview with confidence and presented my best self.
Everything worked out and I had the opportunity to talk to the judges about my love for the ocean, sharks, fossil hunting, and most importantly my ability to take my experiences and inspire young girls everywhere to find their own passion and path in STEM!
