This is a comment on validity of trans women being real women, and the term “fish” being outdated/dead, not only misogynistic, but exclusionary of those not AFAB.

We are eternally grateful to have had this opportunity to showcase not only our love for all things pop culture, but our love for our friends! Almost 10 years ago to the day I googled “fashion events in Toronto” and @fashionarttoronto was coincidentally in the middle of fashion week.
I went to the event that day, terrified and nervous that I wouldn’t be accepted and my heart grew when I was welcomed by so many different people, and even asked to walk for a designer.
Over the span of a weekend I had gained a group of people that every year invited me with open arms.
After the loss of my father, I became more secluded, stepped away from creating, and only in the last few years started to feel like myself again. After 10 years I’ve been left speechless by the same welcoming nature of the team at Fashion Art Toronto. Thank you @_vanjavasic_ and @liammicha for always creating this space for artists.
Thank you to my partner @boathedragqueen who has been my muse and collaborator throughout this project. And most importantly thank you to my selfless mother for more than I could ever say.

Im literally holding back tears as I write this because the passion that we have for this is HUGE and we literally can’t wait to release it with everyone! This is something that we’ve been dreaming of for years and to finally be able to make this possible is the must humbling and grateful feeling ever! Again, thank you so so much to those who have helped us put this together! We’re so lucky to have such an iconic family of people that together, we can lean on!
