I spoke with Alex Zane, co-creator of @tot_for_tot_remakes , a photo project turned viral Instagram page that he started with his daughter, Matilda, in March 2020. . The father and daughter have posted over 100 photo re-creations of famous movie scenes, with Matilda and her stuffed fox standing in for famous actors.

At age 8, Maggie Lin and her sister were separated and placed into the foster care system after being removed from an abusive family. Now, 33, she leads the nonprofit, @thefosternation , which provides meals, mentorship, and support to children in the foster care system who need it.

“What I was doing wasn’t speaking to my soul in the way I wanted it to.” Before becoming a pediatric oncology nurse, David Metzger was a professional sculptor. As an artist, however, he felt like he needed to do something more fulfilling in his life.

"Exactly. That is the end goal. Being able to tread water. Being able to feel comfortable in a pool that's eight or ten feet deep.” At the age of 36, my brother Ryan is learning how to swim. I went down to Columbia to capture his story. I'm extremely proud of Ryan for taking the time and effort to learn this new skill, and for letting us share his story on @todayshow .
