Whew!! Another year added to my life, I can not begin to express the gratitude I have for the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years I have been given. I’m grateful for ALL the people who have graced my life with their presence even for a second. I’m grateful to have loved and lost and loved again. I’m grateful for the lessons learned. I’m grateful for dreams deferred that made room for DREAMS realized!! My birthday wish is for you, reading, to have the fullest life!! That’s the kind of life I strive for everyday. FULL LIFE!! X.

I was trying to think of which pictures to to post and which 10 slides I wanted to share, but this video felt like it had all the things I wanted to say. It started as a song about my own personal hurt, it grew into a song of love because I was able to release it for those who have experienced loss. This song marks huge moments in my life, every time I’ve been brave enough to sing it, it means something new, it is a celebration of growth, a claiming of love, an acceptance of humanity, it is a gift from people I care deeply about (@williamfwells , @anthonyramosofficial ), it’s the space for tears, a space for breath, a space to smile. It’s a song I’m so proud of, it is honest and it is so quintessentially me. 2021 gave me all of this, massive highs, low lows and beautiful in betweens, that’s this song. So as we come to 2022, I pray you find the song that gives you all the things you need to keep moving forward, even when it’s hard. Here’s to music that makes us feel, hears to music that makes us heal, here’s to music that holds us tight just when we need it. Also just in case it’s not clear my mummy is ALIVE and well, she walks over 20000 steps a day 😩. I love you, I hope you love you more. Happy New Year!
